Blueprint and System Monitor will continue to allow configuration uploads, and no warnings or alerts are displayed if the limits are exceeded. Savant does not test beyond the stated limits and won't support functional problems or performance issues that arise because of this.

Blueprint will warn with an alert and System Monitor will prevent the configuration uploads if these limits are exceeded.

*	A Lutron Leap load group consists of a controllable group of shades, dimmed loads, color-tunable loads, switches, or fans. If multiple shades are in 1 group to control together, only the group counts, not the individual motors; the same goes for ketra fixtures or other grouped products.
**	Exceptions to this restriction will be anything that is generating services to three or less zones. An example would be a receiver that's a (6) x (2) switch or a (1) x (8) splitter with a single input.
***	Can be used in non-distributed chassis-based tiling up to 2 cards (2x2 only). IMPORTANT! A Pro Host is required when distributed tiling is used, there are more than two cards, or when using Video Over IP-based tiling.
****	Entry Stations count against the allotted number of IP Cameras an embedded license will allow.

Room Types

In the tables above, different types of Rooms are referenced.  This subsection provides further details and examples of each.

• Anything Room - A Room or Zone which can contain any type of service, including A/V services.
• Audio Only Room - A Room or Zone with only audio services, such as an outdoor patio area with speakers connected to a distributed IP Audio system.
• Environmental Only Room - A Room or Zone with only environmental control services, for example, a hallway with its own HVAC control, or a room that is a security system zone with no other services.

If a Host type supports 2 Anything Rooms with 4 Additional Audio-only Rooms, then a configuration with A/V services in the Living Room and Media Room and distributed audio services feeding 4 additional Rooms is valid, but a configuration with A/V services in 4 Rooms, even with no additional audio-only zones cannot be supported.


 

License Requirements

For most Savant Systems, a license is required to unlock varying levels of functionality. For information on the process of adding licensing to a Host, refer to the Savant Host Runtime Licensing Guide in the Savant Customer Community.
